Hoppe aus Gaiglitz

Beitrag von oberdanfaber » Sa 28. Mai 2016, 16:52

Hello guys!
I´m searching for some information over the name Johann Martin Heinrich Hoppe, he was the first of his name in my family to come to Brazil, Candelária, Rio Grande do Sul, to be more exactly.
He was born in 03 june 1846 and he came from Gaiglitz, Regenwalde, Pommern, Kingdom of Prussia, to Brazil in 1862. Son of Ludwig Hoppe and Caroline Lilge.
If anyone have informations over his parents, who as his son came to Brazil at the same time, it will be very important to me. Anything about other members of this family who keep their living in Germany.

Information from: Todtenregister der deutschen evangelischen Gemeinde Germania na Costa da Serra (1874 – 1925) – Buch I

Thanks a lot!

Guten Tag,

Geiglitz belonged to the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Labuhn, Kreis Regenwalde, Pommern.

The records from 1837 to 1874 are online ---> pommerscher.greif.de/kirchenbuch-online/articles/landkreis-regenwalde.html ---> Labuhn 1837-1874.

I checked them but did not find your ancestor's birth record. So I think that he was not born in the parish of Labuhn.

Every now and then I found your search names Hoppe and Lilge between 1837 and 1846, but no entries match your ancestors.

Maybe the following finds will be of interest to you in the future:

Johann Carl Friedrich Lilge, legitimate son of the master tailor Lilge and his wife Friederike née Zahse, was born on 6 October 1837 and baptised on 11 October 1837. Godparents: 1) Servant Johann Rusch 2) Mrs Zahn, wife of a carpenter 3) Charlotte Umnus

Carl Gottfried August Lilge, legitimate son of Johann Friedrich Lilge, day laborer, and Wilhelmine Albertine née ?, both residents of Neu Labuhn, was born on 9 August 1840 at 7 pm and baptised on 23 August 1840. Godparents: 1) Blacksmith Lilge from Ornshagen [Kreis Regenwalde] 2) Servant Wenndorf from Cumerow 3) Friederike Otto from Wissbow
Source: Evangelical baptisms of Labuhn, 1840, p. 34, no. 15

Johann Carl Friedrich Lilge, legitimate son of Johann Lilge, tailor by trade, and Friederike née Borkenhagen, was born on 14 April 1843 and baptised on 23 April 1843. Godparents: 1) Inhabitant Umnus 2) Friederike Zahn 3) Mrs Kapke

You can add your e-mail address and search names to www.kartenmeister.com. Maybe someone will contact you some day. You never know.

Good luck with your further research and greetings,

clarissa1874

Hello,

one more entry:

Gottlieb Lilge, widower and inhabitant ["Einwohner"], died on 27 July 1844 of "Entkräftung" [weakness] and was buried on 29 July 1844.
